Mark Wood has announced that after 13 years he will now take a break from performing with the TSO - Trans Siberian Orchestra. He has recorded his own project that will broadcast on TV - for an article and sneak peak:

A bit about this blog
This blog was started in June 2009 as a result of a 1 week graduate level course taught at VanderCook College of Music's MECA program in Chicago, IL taught by Daryl Silberman. The participants were 18 veteran orchestra teachers and the first entries are the results of their final project outlining what information is most valuable to them as a result of this course.
